I had a comfortable stay at Days Inn in Paxton. The room was clean and allowed for plenty of relaxation after a long drive. I appreciated the friendly service. The layout of the property is unique since you check in at the gas station. The breakfast options could be better. it felt limited with not much variety available. The carpet in the room hadn't been vacuumed thoroughly, which was disappointing. The odor of old smoke lingered despite being in a non-smoking room. I wish they paid more attention to cleaning details like dust in the corners and maintenance of the common areas. However, overall, the friendliness of the staff made the experience a bit more enjoyable.
